Buttocks

The concept of beauty has changed throughout history, however bulky and firm buttocks have been considered attractive to this day.

The buttocks are decisive in the human figure and over the years tend to descend and change shape, generating a loss of body proportions and youth attributes, which can be improved or recovered by gluteoplasty.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCEDURE

Gluteoplasty is the surgical procedure that seeks to improve the shape and volume of the buttocks, by introducing silicone implants or fat injection of the same patient.

SURGICAL TECHNIQUE

Buttock Implants: An incision is made in the intergluteal fold and a pocket is made inside the gluteus maximus muscle or below it, where the implant is inserted.

Buttock Lipoinjection: Through small incisions hidden in the folds, the fat that has been previously extracted through liposuction is introduced.

RECOVERY

It is an outpatient surgery, rest is required for two days, after which the patient can start activities without exercise or physical effort. Postoperative inflammation is a normal part of the procedure which will gradually disappear after 2 months.
